Task 2.
Develop and maintain an accurate and current physical assets register. Establish and implement regular
reporting practices to ensure the effective performance of physical assets.
Create a fictional assets register for your establishment. Your register must include sections for information
about the asset, all purchase and financial details, maintenance/service/inspection information and
disposal details.
Using all of the items listed above complete the register with as much information as possible about each
asset. For further information please refer to the asset management software located in the William Blue
Portal and the example asset register template.
Give four benefits why an asset register would be beneficial to your establishment.

obtained and justify why you selected the asset.
