Ramacciati (2015, p. 278) recommends that personal reflections, stress inoculation management and professional counselling should be implemented to support nurses exposed to violence. Lastly, Wolf et al (2011, p. 309) suggested that more training is required in recognising high risk situations and patients. Wolf and colleagues (2011, p. 309) also recommended that personal and institutional interferences should be industrialised to improve the high risk circumstances and to be able to distinguish and lessen violence. Nevertheless, wolf and colleagues (2011, p. 309) also concluded that prevalent culture of acceptance of violence among ED nurses needs to be implemented to reduce the incident of violence. Implement and disseminate your results for relevant target audiences Education The target stakeholders included Advanced Nurse Practitioner, Clinical Nurse, Registered Nurse and administrators responsible for providing educational strategies targeted at increasing current knowledge and raise awareness. The findings can be implemented and disseminated through informal and formal approach in which conference presentation, posters, pamphlets and face to face sessions are utilise to share the findings among nurses who lack knowledge in violence incident management (reference here). However, methods such as organising interactive small groups such as workshop and meeting could potentially be implemented to disseminate the findings to reach the target audience. This in turn will provide the opportunity in which emergency nurses knowledge and attitude towards evidence base practice is modified and adopt the changes into clinical practice (reference).
