250 words on: Your intended contribution to the project 250 words on: What you hope to learn from the project The project is an internship at Finance department what we will do there is : will be undertaking an internship at a firm in their finance department Financial Analysit at MB Petroleum services LLC . A financial analysit’s main job is evaluating buisnesses, profits, budgets, and other finance – related entities to determine their suitibility for investement. my role entails interpreting and forcasting complex financial data. This tests my reading comrehesnsion, as I get to read various finanacial related documents. In addition, we get to make decisions regarding the performance of the company, which would improve my judgement and decision making skills, as I get the chance to consider the relative costs and benefits of potentiol actions to choose the most appropriate one. Moreover. I am able to synthesize and communicate data to relevant party. This broadens my knowledge in communication as I get to communicate with other companies or parties, and my speaking skills as I will need to convey information to tohers effectively. Finally, one of my main responsibiliteis is to estimate buisness and investement performnace which is going to imove my monitering skills, as we are going to monitor and asses the performance of the company and take the corrective actions. My job as a financial analisyt revolves around evaluating and estimating the investements of the companies, which will help me increase the level of my skills. Through being assigned a number of assignments and participating in various activities and projects, this will improve my insight of how Fincnce department works and implements different solutions in real situations as all that we encountered up to now is only on paper, for example how a motivation and inspiration theory such as herzberg’s theory may be utilized in a situation and the research that has to be conducted before it is finally implemented, also how the outcome of this change is analysed and assessed. Even thought the workforce from one firm to another differs, this experience will also upgrade my abilities in dealling with various employees. Adding to that there is more skills to gain such as critical thinking for example, as i get to use logic and reasoning to identify the strenghts and weakesses in aproaches to different problems. Also, active learning like understading the implications of the new information for current and future problem solving and decision making. We have to possess effective time managment skills so I can complete all the necessary tasks without falling behind.
