I have a couple of assignments that I need help with.
Complete Exercise 10-8 on pages 304-305, # 2, 3, 5, 6, and 8 in your textbook. You should first answer #1 , 4, and 7 and check your answers against those provided in the back of the book to verify that you understand the assignment.
You will need to rewrite all the arguments in proper form with two premises and one conclusion. Identify the correct Truth-Functional Argument pattern being used (there are six to choose from) and then state whether or not the argument is valid or invalid.
( I have attached the assignment to complete from book for all these exercises).
Chapter 10B Textbook Homework # 2
Using the Truth Table Method create Truth Tables for the following syllogisms found in Exercise 10-9 on pages 310-311. Please follow the format outlined in the Power Point. This will be slightly different than the way the book presents Truth Tables, but I think it will be clearer for you as the student. Do not neglect to state whether or not the syllogism is valid or invalid and if it is invalid identify the lines that make it invalid. Complete # 2, 3, 5, 6, and 9. This assignment will be worth 15 points. It is due in the correct dropbox no later than Sunday, April 2nd, but the recommendation is to submit it earlier so that it can be graded before you take the quiz on Chapter 10.
Chapter 10B Textbook Homework # 3
Use the short Truth Table Method to determine validity of the following syllogisms: Show your work and give clear truth values for each letter. This assignment will be worth 10 points and is due in the correct dropbox no later than Sunday, April 2nd but the recommendation is to submit it earlier so that it can be graded before you take the quiz on Chapter 10.
