Research emergency response for fires that use water delivery enhanced with chemical additives for
extinguishment. Briefly describe an incident and highlight some of the primary types of chemical additives and
their effectiveness. Did the water have high heat of vaporization or gasify readily with the additives? Did the
additives form any toxic products after the extinguishment of the fire?
