Assessment task
Your portfolio should capture rich ideas, resources and innovative practice around workflow analysis & management within the frame of the topic Process Characteristics and Process Implementation. To achieve this, you are to conduct a research of the Internet on the topics as listed at the top of this assessment detail. Search for items related to the topic. The items you may include in the portfolio could be YouTube videos, clips from lectures and/or tutorials, articles, interesting readings, relevant websites and your own work that you produced in the tutorials. You should review the items you find around the specified topic and select a minimum of 4 items and link them to your portfolio. Each 4 items should have justification.
In the justification, write a discussion that firstly provides a brief summary of the chosen item and secondly outline why you chose the item i.e. why you thought the item chosen was appropriate and/or relevant to the topic. Your justification for each item should be around 100 words (100 words for each item * 4 items = 400 words).
You are not to upload files from the Internet, as you do not own copyright, and if you do upload the files, this will be plagiarism. You are to provide hyperlinks to the files/webpages you are referring to.
Harvard referencing format and citations are to be used to substantiate your discussion.
All assignments will be checked for plagiarism (material copied from other students and/or material copied from other sources). If you are found to have plagiarised material or if you have used someone elses words without appropriate referencing, you will be penalised for plagiarism which could result in zero marks for the whole assignment. In some circumstances a more severe penalty may be imposed as per University policy.
All portfolio items require students to write about your views, reflections and/or experiences from a personal viewpoint. Therefore,
all items must be written in first person unless other requirements are stated in a portfolio item. Various written communication conventions have been discussed in the unit content and you should follow the writing styles appropriate for each assessment item. Do NOT simply write in conversational style even when writing in first person perspective.
Students must write the Portfolio items themselves. You may be asked to prove that you have written the Portfolio items. You should keep evidence that you have written the Portfolio items yourself, for example, early drafts of your Portfolio items.
