Choose a policy that is of interest to you or relevant to your major field of study. You are to research this policy thoroughly, using at least five (5) resources for a paper that has content of at least 8 to 10 pages (The title page, abstract page and reference page are in addition to the content. Thus, the paper would be 11 to 13 total pages in length.). Wikipedia References are NOT permitted.

Your paper must be typed and double-spaced typed using 1-inch margins. You are to use either a 10 or 12 pt type pitch. You must follow APA writing style. This means that you have a cover page, an abstract, page numbers, and reference page. See the Getting Started Learning Module to find links to APA style quides.

You are to submit this assignment through Canvas by the due date listed. The paper should reflect your best writing and thinking skills.

  • Who will be/is covered and how?
  • How will the policy be implemented?
  • How is the policy funded?


3.   SUMMARY AND CONCLUSIONS (suggested 3-4 pages)

  • How well does this policy advance social well-being?
  • How well does the policy address social and economic justice issues?
  • What is working and what needs to be changed? What specific changes or alterations in the policy would you recommend and why?
  • Do your suggestions basically represent a continuation of the status quo or does it represent a significant departure from the past?
